If you are a lover of code generation, you must check the new OpenSource project called SmartCodeGenerator, it's a very new ASP.NET based template engine (close in that way to codesmith), with some powerfull Database Schema Explorer API, that run against SQL Server, MySql and Oracle for now !
As .netTiers are openSource templates, it is very naturally that both teams will work together to bring .netTiers on that new generation plateform.
